Are you a personable, proactive and driven individual looking to work for an exciting company offering a fantastic selection of employee perks and an end to the working today at 2:45pm on a Friday?
This position would suit either a seasoned salesperson, a recent graduate or a confident and outgoing individual looking to break into the sales sector.
Reporting to the Team Leader the Account Manager will be responsible for generating business through outbound cold calling to other businesses and to act as customer services advisor for any customers they bring on board for the first six-months of the customer's account duration.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain a full understanding the product range and the evolving market.
* Plan and prioritise sales activities to achieve agreed targets, involving high volume business to business cold calling;
* Maintaining regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health and safety procedures;
* Maintain and develop new and existing customers through appropriate sales methods, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction;
* Respond to, and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods;
* Answer and make calls in an efficient, professional and courteous manner;
* Compliance with Business Conduct Guidelines and other group policies.
Education & Experience:
* Experience working in an office environment is essential, preferably with business-to-business telesales experience;
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages - Word, Outlook and Excel.
Candidate Qualities:
* Good communicator with a professional confident telephone manner and excellent customer service skills;
* Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to organise and prioritise;
* Resilience when working under pressure with a strong work ethic and reliability;
* Ability to work well individually and as part of a team;
* Target conscious and results driven.
