Thriving independent firm based in Mid Kent is keen to recruit the services of an experienced Practice bookkeeper.
This is a high volume and deadline driven role where you will often have to juggle several simultaneous assignments at one time. Each day will be different, and you will work with a diverse range of managers, accountancy staff and business owners.
Core duties to include:-
• Accounts through to, and beyond trial balance
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Reconciliations, pl, sl and credit control
• Online banking, payments and petty cash
• Systems Advice
This role might suit someone with at least two years’ experience of bookkeeping in a Practice environment. You will need to be able to work well under pressure and thrive on working closely with like- minded individuals. An ability to communicate well with a broad range of people, and develop close working relationships will also be needed. Delivering the highest level of customer care at an affordable price should be at the heart of everything that you do.
This is a fantastic opportunity with plenty of scope of further progression.
