Electronic Specifier, leading publisher in Electronics publications, is seeking a creative-thinking Marketing Assistant who has experience working with social media and an interest in marketing to join our growing team.
Candidates should have a good knowledge of creating engaging content across multiple social media channels and be proficient in the use of Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and Linkedin. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent writing skills, including a flair for short, sharp copy and show a genuine understanding and passion for social media strategies and developing online engagement. It would also be of benefit if the candidate has skills in Adobe software to create dynamic and visually stimulating content eg. Video, Animations, GIFS, Photography.

Although experience within the exact field is not essential, it is important for the candidate to show an interest in the Electronics sector and to be able to relate to the consumer technologies.

Responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the social media managers with engaging campaigns and content
• Assisting with monthly targets for clients across all platforms
• Supporting the social media team on networking and administration
• Developing brand awareness and building audiences on less developed accounts
• Assisting on the reporting and providing analytics for clients’ social media accounts to advance content
• Researching on target audiences and events
• Creating visual content using Adobe software
• Helping out with events, involving both UK & Overseas travel
