Successful, and reputable accountancy practice based in Sevenoaks is looking for a full time bookkeeper to join their friendly team.
The position is suitable for an experienced bookkeeper and for the right person could develop into a greater accountancy role.
The position is to start as soon as possible.
Competitive salary will be dependent on experience.
Ongoing training will be provided.
Duties to Include:
Preparing VAT returns
Posting sales and purchase invoices and deal with control accounts
Take annual books up to trial balance
Complete balance sheet reconciliations
Occasional travel to clients
Good IT skills and some experience in Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and Iris Kashflow software an advantage
AAT or equivalent qualification is desirable but being qualified by experience is more important
Positive and friendly attitude
Good at building client relationships
Good communication skills (written and spoken)
Ability to prioritise/organise work and meet deadlines
Accurate and thorough with attention to detail
Respond quickly and efficiently to any customer needs and questions
Take pride in your work and approach tasks with energy and enthusiasm
You will be a team player but are also happy to work on your own
