My client is looking to recruit an Estimator to report to and support the Senior Estimator. This role is varied with excellent benefits.



Within this role there is plenty of room for development and future opportunities to progress for the right candidate.



Duties include:

* Supporting the Senior Estimator to deliver timely, accurate and competitive estimates and tenders
* Assisting in negotiation with suppliers
* Liaising with internal clients to ensure all information required for tendering has been gathered within the project requirements
* Contribute to accurate reporting and measurement of supply chain performance
* Assist in sourcing new products by working with design and development departments
* Working with suppliers to develop project estimates
* Undertaking any other duties assigned by the line manager



The right candidate will have/ be:

* Previous experience within an estimating environment would be advantageous but not essential
* Working knowledge of manufacturing processes involving metal, wood and plastic
* Strong communication skills with numerical skills is essential
* The ability to work calmly and accurately within a pressured environment
* Computer literate to a high standard



This role has the possibility for exposure within sourcing, purchasing and quality assurance, therefore the right candidate should have a welcoming attitude towards this. This is a full time position with plenty of potential for growth within a warm and friendly atmosphere.
