SENIOR SOUS CHEF - £28,000 – fresh, seasonal cuisine –
This popular community pub is in the centre of a small bustling town on the outskirts of Canterbury. It is well established as a destination restaurant and has an excellent reputation for the fine food served there.
Currently they are seeking a Senior Sous Chef to assist with the day to day running of this fast paced kitchen. There is a brigade of 5 chefs preparing fresh, seasonal menus and where possible produce is sourced locally. The ideal Head Chef will feel passionately about cooking and have plenty of innovative ideas to bring with them.
Your responsibilities will include menu design, sourcing suppliers, costing and ensuring you run a profitable kitchen, stock control, ordering and all health and hygiene procedures. As Head Chef you will also be involved in recruiting, training and motivating your brigade of chefs.
