My client situated in West Malling are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis. This role will sit within the payroll function and assist the Company Accountant and Payroll Manager with a variety of finance duties. This is a newly created position and has come around due to company growth.
Key skills and responsibilities:
-Journal production & post for all payroll related transactions (P&L and Balance Sheet)
-Payroll cost accruals
-Control account reconciliation
-Data collation relating to pension contributions
-Pension contribution uploads to portal
-Reconciliations of returned & rejected contributions
-Administrative support to the payroll department
This role would suit someone who is actively studying towards their AAT qualification as study support will be provided to the correct position. My client is a fast moving organisation and there will be lots of opportunity to grow over time.
