IT Support Engineer (2nd -3rd)

Opportunity:
A leading financial organisation, which has recently been admitted onto the London Stock Exchange, is currently hiring an IT Support Engineer to help support and upgrade the internal finance applications.

The chosen candidate will under undertake and complete IT Infrastructure & Application analysis, support and administration tasks for a number of business critical finance applications.

This role will give the chosen candidate an opportunity to gain experience within the finance industry and be heavily involved in

Role Responsibilities:
- To provide IT Infrastructure/Application analysis, support and administration in accordance with agreed service targets
- To create and maintain all infrastructure and application management/support documentation and procedures
- To ensure work carried out by Third Parties, adheres to the established standards and meets the requirements
- To monitor server environment for security, capacity and stability concerns
- To coordinate all required maintenance of Cisco Networks and Firewalls.

Key Skill Set:
- A minimum of 3 years previous experience of working in an IT infrastructure/Application analysis, support and administration role
- Experience of supporting VOIP call systems and call routing and recording
- Experience working with HP SAN storage technologies
- Experience of remediating IT security risks a large infrastructure estate
- Experience of virtualisation in particular VMWare ESXi 6.0+ technology

-£24,000 - £28,000
- 10 % bonus
