We are looking for Customer Service Assistants to provide first class customer support for our online knitting and crochet shop, The Knitting Network. Part of the Toys and Interior’s group of brands, The Knitting Network is a fast-growing ecommerce business with an exciting future.

Working within a small and friendly team, the ideal candidates will have proven customer service experience and a genuine enthusiasm for people and crafts, creating a positive shopping experience that means our customers return again and again.

The role will include the following key duties –
• Support customers by phone and email
• Process orders and card payments
• Assist with exchanges, replacements, returns and cancellations
• Resolve and respond promptly to customer enquiries
• Build relationships and maintain a high standard of customer care
• You’ll also provide customer support for Toys and Interior’s other brands, including Brollied, a dedicated online shop selling umbrellas

The ideal candidates are –
• Friendly, knowledgeable and self-motivated
• Naturally able to engage with people
• Problem solvers that will take each task to completion
• Keen crafters (knitting or crochet experience a distinct advantage)
• Able to work equally well as part of a busy team and under own initiative
• Multi-taskers, juggling time and priorities effectively

Location and hours –
• We are based in a bright and modern office on the Eurolink East Estate in Sittingbourne
• Customer service opening hours are 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday. Full time and part time applicants will be considered
