Established firm of chartered accountants is looking for an experienced staff member who enjoys all aspects of accounts preparation. Working with a wide range of clients and the internal bookkeeping, payroll and tax staff, you will be taking care of the final accounts preparation work ready for Partner review.

Using Sage, QuickBooks and Kashflow software packages, you will complete annual company accounts and liaise closely with your clients to answer their queries and assist them with understanding their financial position and obligations.

This is a team-based work environment providing a high level of internal support and ongoing training and development.

To be considered for this Accounts Senior position, you will probably be actively studying for your ACCA professional qualification. Previous/ current experience of working within an accountancy practice is essential in order to understand the work flows, procedures and deadlines involved.

In addition to your technical accounting skills, you should enjoy client contact and be actively interested in their businesses.
