The chosen candidate will be a pivotal member of their SME broking Team dealing with renewals and mid-term adjustments as well as general enquiries.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• As an Account Handler you will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of SME Clients who pay between £250 and £5,000 in GWP. The role will work in conjunction with the existing SME Team delivering exceptional service standards to a variety of clients across a multitude of insurance classes.
• The role is all-encompassing and will include negotiating renewals with Insurers, dealing with client enquiries, identifying cross and up-selling opportunities and dealing with all mid-term adjustments – ensuring all of which are dealt with in a professional and compliant manner.
• The ability to service clients to a very high standard at all times is of paramount importance.
• The classes of business will include Commercial Combined, Office, Shop, Public and Employers Liability, Property, Business Interruption, Personal Accident, Travel, Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers Liability, Marine and Goods in Transit so we are looking for a good spread of Product knowledge.
