LOCATION: Folkestone, Kent/Hybrid - The candidate will need to be based in the UK as they will be required to visit our office in Folkestone for training/team days/client meetings. This is a hybrid role with a minimum of three days a week in our office.

The successful candidate will be a strategist, a Sleeping Giant Media brand ambassador, and an effective project manager. You lead, develop and understand digital strategies for our clients, and ensure they are delivered to an exceptional standard by working effectively with all teams in the department. You are also capable of communicating Search (SEO/PPC/Content) related material to a high level. You will be responsible for a portfolio of clients' accounts across multiple industries. You'll be supported in developing responsibility for a team of Strategic Account Managers.
THE ROLE
As an Account Director, you will:
Lead the strategy for a portfolio of clients across diverse industries, translating business goals into actionable digital marketing strategies using the SOSTAC model.
Be accountable for meeting and exceeding external KPI targets while overseeing the performance of your client accounts and team.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining excellent communication and fostering long-term relationships.
Oversee and mentor a team of Strategic Account Managers, ensuring their personal and professional development.
Manage internal processes, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of client work in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Be hands-on in client meetings, business reviews, and strategy development, ensuring clients receive exceptional service and measurable outcomes.

REQUIREMENTS
To succeed in this role, you should have:
Proven experience in account management, client services, or a similar role, within a digital marketing agency.
A strong understanding of SEO, PPC, and content marketing strategies, with the ability to communicate these at a high level.
Analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
A track record of building and sustaining long-term client relationships.
Proficiency with tools such as Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, and SEMRush.
