Bailey Street Furniture Group Ltd

Product Installer - Bailey Street Furniture Group Ltd

Part of a large European Group of companies (CROWD) with facilities in the DACH, Benelux and Scandic regions, Bailey Street Furniture Group is a leading manufacturer of street furniture, canopies, shelters, playground equipment and cycle parking solutions to the UK construction market. With three separate sites in the UK and as part of our exciting plans for future growth, we are now seeking a Product Installer to join our UK team, based at our Edenbridge office.

The work involves installing our products, which can be viewed on our website www.bsfg.co.uk, with all necessary product training provided. You will be part of a Team, in a hands-on role, working mainly outdoors on a wide range of projects and clients at schools, construction sites, commercial, and public sector applications.

We are looking for candidates with good mechanical and practical skills who are keen to work to our high standards while maintaining high awareness and regard for Health and Safety. Working as part of a team and in some cases, depending on experience and qualifications already held, taking the role of Lead Installer and Supervisor on some of our larger projects. Working closely and communicating on a daily basis with the office-based Installation Management Team.
A CSCS Card holder is ideal, and with SSSTS or SMSTS level certification would be advantageous, however training and qualifications can be achieved with the company, if you are the right person.

This is a full-time permanent position, working 45 hours per week. We cover installations across the UK and share installation resource with our Northern branch. While we try to use this to our geographical advantage, there will still be times when working away and overnight stays are required for short periods depending on the nature of the project, its location and travel time.

Full clean, manual, driving licence required. This position is subject to a full DBS check.
Tools, PPE and work transport will be provided.

Hourly rates are dependent on qualifications and experience, but the right person can expect to earn £28 to £32k per annum.
Overtime is often available.
