Job title: Communications and Marketing Assistant (Apprentice)

Main purpose of job:
Join the Business, Sales, and Marketing team to support and contribute to the implementation of the Marketing strategy and plans. You will be responsible for delivering day-to-day marketing activities across a multitude of platforms, channels and systems that are essential to the Marketing function and activities of the company.

Location: Folkestone office, with some requirements to travel to other offices and events

Position reports to: Business, Sales, and Marketing Manager

Length of contract: 24 Months

Salary: £21,500 (pro rata)

Hours of Work:
3 days a week, office hours are between 9am-5pm (with ½ hour unpaid lunch and 2 x paid 15-minute breaks).

Additional information:
This is a new role, designed to support an apprentice through the Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship at level 3.
Apprentices without level 2 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the End-Point Assessment

Main duties

Assisting with the development, implementation, and monitoring of marketing strategy

Use research methods to gather marketing insight, local knowledge, competitor analysis and evaluation to support marketing decisions and planning.

Source, create and edit content in collaboration with colleagues for appropriate marketing channels,
such as website, email, social media, and sales materials.

Ensure brand guidelines for the organisation and project requirements are met.

Support to ensure that digital marketing materials and assets are compliant with marketing regulations and legislation.

Carry out customer focussed marketing activities promoting services and raising awareness of the organisation.

Use the organisation’s customer relationship management system (CRM) to maintain accurate customer data and relationships management.

Assist with the development and monitoring specific online ad campaigns.

Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of social media platforms.

Support and maintain the administration of marketing activities such as building databases, collecting data and analytics, tracking budgets, organise a webinar or online/offline event; run an email campaign and supporting procurement of marketing materials.

Contribute to the monitoring of marketing expenditure and activities to a specified budget and plan in line with company processes.

Attend events and promote the organisation when required.

Assist in the planning, producing, and editing of video content.

Any other reasonable duties/tasks that me be required for the success of SEK.
