As an Accounts Assistant at Group 1 Automotive you will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting brand.

What you will be doing?

• Working within a large Finance Team providing accounts support for a Brand of vehicles
• Posting and reconciliation of bank accounts
• Ensuring payments, accounts and records are correct
• Purchase Ledger tasks
• Sales Ledger tasks
• Maintaining Excel spreadsheets
• Month end and year end duties
• As part of a growing business there’s plenty of opportunity to get involved with ad hoc tasks and expand your own skillset

What we are looking for?

• Previous experience of working in a finance role is desirable for this position
• A hard-working professional with the desire to maintain and improve upon high standards
• You will be professional with the ability to deal with challenging situations
• Have an accurate and methodical approach to work
• Will be able to meet deadlines and prioritise work
• A good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office is essential
