We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper with high skills in general accounting, cash flow control, VAT returns, and debt management to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with various financial tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting software Xero and the CIS Scheme.
Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Process accounts payable / Receivable and ensure timely payments
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
Experience:
- CIS Industry Experience Essential
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
- Proficiency in accounting software Xero
- VAT Returns
- Credit Control and Debt Management
- Strong knowledge of accounts processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 24 per week
Experience:
Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
bookkeeping: 3 years (required)
