Exciting Opportunity: Part-time Finance manager
Are you ready to lead the financial strategy for a dynamic public sector organisation? We're seeking a Finance manager to drive effective financial planning, promote their organisation as a leader in its sector, and ensure continued growth and learning.
Role Overview:

* Leadership: You'll lead the finance team, ensuring its efficient functioning.
* Strategic Involvement: As part of the Senior Management Team (SMT), you'll actively participate in key decisions related to strategic planning, implementation, review, and impact assessment.
* Financial Controls: Implement robust financial controls, policies, and procedures across all activities, including planning, budgeting, income generation, expenditure, and reporting.
* Compliance: Ensure organization-wide compliance with internal financial procedures and legal requirements.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop the annual budget and financial forecasts.
* Cashflow Management: Oversee cashflow to maintain financial stability.
* Year-End Accounts: Prepare year-end accounts and reconciliations.
* Performance Analysis: Provide reports to the Leadership Team and Board of Trustees, analysing performance against KPIs.

Requirements:

* Relevant qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent experience.
* Experience in financial management within an organization.
* Familiarity with charity accounting and SORP reporting requirements.
* Proven leadership and team development skills.
* Knowledge of data protection and GDPR compliance.
* Experience overseeing payroll.
