We are working with a manufacturer that has a great opportunity for an experienced Welder to join a fantastic team. You will be reading drawings, taking measurements, cutting and joining a variety of metals and materials.

Duties include

* Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements
* Set up components for welding according to specifications
* Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
* Align components using calipers, rulers etc
* Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions
* Repair machinery
* Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure
* Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety

Skills Required

* Must be an experienced welder
* Experience with electrical and hand tools
* Used a variety of welding equipment
* Accuracy in work and attention to detail is a must!

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8am - 4:45pm & Friday 8am - 12pm
