Hays recruitment are recruiting for a purchasing assistant for our client based in Aylesham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a temp to perm starting asap.
Monday to Friday
9am - 5pm

Salary
£11.53 - £13.50 per hour

Duties:

- Liaise with the sales team
- Process import clearance for all loads coming into the UK.
- Monitor stock levels on a daily basis.
- Support QC regarding return of faulty goods.
- Chase outstanding or late deliveries.
- Deliver and support purchasing functions.
- Run food service stock reports on a day-to-day basis.
- Order fresh produce import sales.

Experience:

- Purchasing
- Fresh produce industry (desired)
- Manufacturing environment
- Use of purchasing and procurement software
