Electrical Engineer - DAYS ONLY

Location: Rochester
Job Type: Full-time (DAYS ONLY MONDAY - FRIDAY 8-5)
Salary: £35,000 - £42,000

We are working closely with our client to recruit for a skilled Electrical Engineer with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

This role involves working on a specialist range of industrial machinery, supplying to a diverse clientele across the UK and Ireland. From varied machinery to fully automated production lines, you will be at the forefront of advancing their technological capabilities.

Day to day of the role:
Build electrical control cabinets from component level.
Wire systems both electrically and mechanically, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.
Perform modifications to existing machines to enhance functionality and efficiency.
Install new or upgrade existing safety systems, maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
Collaborate closely with a team of engineers on all projects, from sale through to delivery, providing technical support and expertise.


Required Skills & Qualifications:
A strong understanding of industrial electrical principles, including high current power circuits and low voltage control circuits.
Basic knowledge of PLCs and mechanical systems, including pneumatics.
Proficient in reading and understanding electrical drawings.
Good knowledge of safety systems and minimum 17th edition qualification.
