An opportunity has arisen within a highly successful organisation for an experienced Service Engineer to start employment on a permanent basis.

You will be contracted to work 40 Hours per Week (Monday - Friday), to include working one week in every three weeks a night shift, typically 21:00-04:30.

There is also a Call out Rota in place and weekend overtime paid at an enhanced rate available to suit business requirements.

Main duties will include:

* Preventative and planned maintenance of Systems.
* Attending breakdowns of non-trading sites.
* Fault finding and repair on equipment, including controls.
* Detailed reporting on remedial work to existing systems, to ensure compliance
* Carrying our commissioning activities.
* Willingness to work flexible hours including a call-out rota - Overtime Available
* Maintain personal technical skills to a high level.
* Writing of technical reports using the CRM system.
* Engaging with the Service office team reporting accurate information to ensure first class customer service.
* Attending Engineering meetings as and when required.
* Supervising and guiding trainee service engineers.

The successful candidate will have:

* Previous experience as a field engineer or similar.
* Well versed in technical aspects of field projects on machinery and equipment.
* Understanding of Health & Safety guidelines.
* Attention to detail.
* Good knowledge and understanding of basic control system. PLC's.
* Electrical qualifications, NVQ L3 equivalent or higher
* Analytical mind and strong problem-solving ability.
* Goal oriented, self-directed, and self-motivated.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* Must demonstrate a willingness to learn, have a desire to improve on a daily basis.
* Full driving licence.
