A long established engineering company based in Medway Towns is looking to recruit a Service Technician initially on a temporary basis. There is an opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidate after a qualifying period.

You will be working in a small team carrying out mechanical and light assembly of engineering panels and parts to specified drawings utilising various hand tools and measuring apparatus for accuracy as needed.

You will ensure that customers requirements and stock items are finished in accordance with company ISO standards and within timescales set out on the company works order.

You will also test equipment using company testing rigs.

Your main duties will include:

1) Assembling various engineering panels and equipment (gas blenders, flow control valves) to drawing specifications in accordance with company ISO standards.

2) To ensure that the company Works Order details are adhered to and forms are completed correctly.

3) Testing of equipment using company testing rigs and ISO quality procedures

4) Completion of test documentation when necessary

5) Weighing, packing and measure of final completed packed goods to comply with company standards.

The hours of work are 06.30-15.00, Monday-Thursday and 06.30-10.30 on Friday.

Hours can be slightly flexible.
