Your new company
A leading internal\'s subcontractor are looking to recruit an experienced Surveyor to strengthen the existing commercial team, Based in the Maidstone area in purpose-built offices, the business work across several internal trades, including painting, decorating and drylining, as well as smaller fit-out contracts. With packages ranging from £500k to £3million clients include a mixture of tier 1 and 2 main contractors, typically in the central London area. This is a newly created role to support the additional turnover the business are now generating from natural expansion and several new contracts.

Your new role
You will be a key member of the commercial team helping to both price new enquires and oversee the surveying on a selection of existing packages. Duties will vary but include payment of suppliers and labour, payment requisitions from clients, overseeing site variations and valuations, monthly cvr\'s, regular liaison with the various clients and generally ensuring the commercial interest of the business. You will work in a team of 4 reporting to a commercial manager and direct responsibility for your own projects. Depending on workload you will also support the estimating team liaising with clients to help build costs for new tenders.

What you\'ll need to succeed
You will have worked as a surveyor or estimator for several years previous and be comfortable managing multiple projects from inception to final account. Previous experience of working for a specialist internal subcontractor is essential. This is a full-time office role with visits to site as required.
