Our client is a well-established family run business in Dartford, looking for a permanent Yard Operative, to assist with loading and unloading of Timber and other goods. Helping with keeping the yard clean and tidy, along with sweeping up and ensuring everything is put away clean.

You will be reliable with good timekeeping and attendance, along with excellent communication skills and able to be proactive.

The role:

* Creating a friendly and welcoming environment
* Cultivate and maintain exceptional standards of customer service and ensure Best Practice, Standards and Company Policies are met
* Assist in the company stock
* Maintain the yard to a high standard of tidiness and cleanliness
* Build rapport, be polite and courteous to customers
* Forklift, both Reach and Counter balance

Essential:

* Fork Lift Licence
* A positive & approachable attitude
* Good product knowledge
* Extensive Previous Yard Experience

This role is Monday to Friday with the hours of 7:30am - 5pm.
