Your new company
Global manufacturing business based in Mid-Kent looking for a senior financial accountant to join their busy finance team. In this position you will be responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing process and reporting according to US GAAP and local statutory requirements for UK Holding Companies. In this position you will report to the Finance Manager.

Your new role

* Responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing process for UK Holding Companies
* Responsible for annual Budget and Long-Range Plan development and reporting
* Responsible for monthly forecasting
* Ensure reporting is according to US GAAP
* Ensure local statutory requirements are fulfilled correctly and timely
* Preparation and posting of journal vouchers according to tax, local GAAP and internal policies
* Preparation of tax calculations
* Calculation of Accruals, Allowances, etc.
* Manage Intercompany Loans
* Account reconciliation management and proactive issue resolution
* Maintenance and reconciliation of intercompany receivable and payable activity
* Support internal and external audits while ensuring data integrity and timeliness

What you'll need to succeed

* Accountancy Qualification ACA/ACCA/CIMA
* Several years of professional experience in accounting
* Several years of ERP systems experience necessary
* Experience with IFRS and US GAAP as well as good understanding of Financial close process to support Actual, Forecast and Budget reporting
* Experience resulting from an auditing company is an advantage

What you'll get in return
