My client based in Sevenoaks is seeking an Architectural Technician to join their team in the office. They are a multidisciplinary building consultancy and work on a range of projects from residential, healthcare, education, commercial, leisure and more. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing production information, construction packages and construction details in AutoCAD. The practice also uses Revit.
Your new role

* Producing and developing production/construction drawing packages
* Conducting site visits and inspections as needed to ensure compliance with building regulations and standards.
* Helping coordinate various aspects of projects, including liaising with clients.
* Producing construction packages in AutoCAD, including drawings and specifications.
* Assisting with project management tasks, such as scheduling, quality control and project organisation.
* Contributing to the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
* Participating in project meetings and communicating progress updates to line manager and team.
* Helping collate building control compliance through drawing review and site visits/as built checks.

What you'll need to succeed

* AutoCAD experience essential
* General knowledge of UK residential building regulations and warranty requirements
* General knowledge of construction methods and materials, building codes and regulations, and quality control processes.
* Proven experience with AutoCAD and package delivery.
* Strong communication, organisation, and time-management skills.
