Direct Response Marketing Group is an innovative catalogue-based marketing company located in Sittingbourne Kent looking for a creative graphic designer. This is an excellent chance for an enthusiastic graphic designer to take that next step in their career. We are looking for someone who has a real eye for design, detail and takes pride in every project.
Responsibilities:
• Working at the forefront of the company the Graphic Designer has a key role which involves maintaining brand consistency by upholding established visual identities for our separate brands, adapting them as needed.
• Develop and design for print marketing including catalogues, leaflets, brochures and newspaper/magazine advertisements. Update existing literature, ensuring it reflects our latest offerings.
• Effective collaboration with the Senior Graphic Designer and Marketing Team is crucial to comprehend project requirements and goals.
• Demonstrate adaptability, ensuring that their work aligns with each brand's distinct characteristics and target audiences.
• Follow detailed briefs.
• Balance multiple project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising the attention to detail and visual consistency
• Assist with updating the websites with new artwork
Skills & Qualification:
• InDesign experience essential and proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Previous design experience needed including a strong portfolio of graphics work that showcases your creativity, technical ability, and project execution.
• Require Professional qualification or extensive experience in graphic design, with a strong grasp of design principles.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent communication skills, with team members and clients
• Ability to manage time, multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Desired Skills:
An avid interest in both digital and web design, photography and copywriting would also be highly advantageous for this role.
Working Hours:
Working hours are typically 40 hours a week, usually with some flexibility around start and finish times. You'll likely have to work extra hours when deadlines are approaching.
