I am looking for an experienced and motivated branch manager to lead a hardworking team to support and contribute to a builders merchant in Ashford.
As a Branch Manager you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, including sales, customer service, inventory, health and safety, and staff management.

Responsibilities for the branch manager include:

• Manage the daily operations of the branch and ensure that the branch meets its targets and objectives.
• Lead, coach, and motivate the branch staff to deliver excellent customer service and sales performance.
• Monitor and control branch expenses, stock levels, and cash flow and prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
• Maintain a high standard of branch presentation, cleanliness, and safety and conduct regular audits and inspections.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders and handle any complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

Skills & Requirements for the Branch Manager include:

• Proven experience as a branch manager or similar role in a building merchant or related industry.
• Strong knowledge of building materials, products, and services and the ability to advise customers on their needs and preferences.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Customer-oriented, results-driven, and problem-solving mindset and the ability to handle challenging situations and customers.

Extras and details for the Branch Manager include:

• Salary £40000 depending on experience
• 28 days holiday – increasing with length of service
• Monday-Friday shifts between 07:30-5pm Saturday 07:30-12:30
• 40 hours per week, time off in lieu for Saturday, Saturday worked every other
