Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Packing Supervisor to join their team in Dartford, Kent

The role entails:

- Training and supervising packing operatives on machinery and tools
- Monitoring the tasks of each packing operative to ensure that they are trained on all processes
- Performing quality control checks in order to ensure that all issues are reported immediately
- Ensuring that all items are wrapped and packed correctly and that all items are of good quality and are clean
- Ensuring that all packing operatives follow health and safety procedures
- Reporting any issues with machines immediately, and ensuring that staff know to inform you if they notice any issues
- Changing blades on the packing machines
- Ensuring that all orders meet the clients requirements and that they are dealt with in a timely manner

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to follow instructions and processes
- The ability to work well as part of a team
- Experience working in a similar environment as a packing operative
- Leadership experience
- Good time management skills

The salary:

- £13.00 per hour
- 08:30-17:00
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
- 1 hour paid break
- On site parking
