A rare opportunity has arisen within a long established manufacturing company in the Medway Towns for a CNC Machine Operative to work in the Machine Shop on a permanent basis on a Night Shift.

The position involves:

* Processing mouldings within the machining department encompassing CNC turning, CNC Milling, manual turning, manual milling and drilling.
* Processing of parts in accordance with the relevant drawings, techniques and instructions.

You may also be required to undertake the following tasks on occasion:

* Inspection of machined parts.
* First off checks of other operators work.
* Duties may vary and can include other roles when required.

Working Hours:

This is 46 hour per week role, however training will initially be on days for 3 weeks, moving to a twilight shift working 4 days, 1200 Midday to 0000 Midnight and then moving on to full nights in January. The shift will be 6pm-6am, over 4 nights.

The ideal candidate will have previous manufacturing and CNC experience, must work well under pressure and to deadlines, have excellent time keeping skills, a positive can-do attitude and great literacy and numeracy skills. Ideal candidate must also be able to work using their own initiative and prioritise tasks whilst being able to problem solve.
