Sales Development Representative
Up to £45,000 per annum (OTE up to £65,000 per annum)

To capitalise on this growth Energy Solutions is expanding its sales team with the addition of a Sales Development Representative who will work closely with the Commercial Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a range of market sectors including Marine, Specialist vehicles and off highway equipment, as well as to play a key role in helping the business achieve its plans for future growth.
Duties and Key Responsibilities
You will be an experienced sales professional, adept at build relationships with customers, taking advantage of opportunities. Whilst technical skills would be an advantage your sales technique will be more important.
You will largely spend your time on the road visiting potential customers, whilst also regularly visiting head office. You will also be part of the Company’s trade show team, and where applicable visit other relevant trade shows.
As our Sales Development Representative you will:
•Develop new business across all market sectors, be responsible for increasing the ES pipeline.
•Undertake sales prospecting, connect with clients through cold calling, across social media platforms or utilising other strategies as applicable.
•Understand key sales data, carry out customer and market research.
•Educate potential clients as to the features and benefits of our various solutions.
•Attend trade shows both where we are exhibiting to support the activity and other ad hoc shows as applicable.
•Be an effective brand ambassador; the face of the company and promotor of our products.
Requirements for the Role:
-Qualifications and Experience
•Proven experience within a sales development role (not necessarily within a similar industry although this would be an advantage)
-Knowledge and Technical Skills
•Experience with CRM packages
•An ability to understand technical products
•Organised, with strong attention to detail.
•A self-starter with the ability to source and qualify leads successfully.
•Outstanding communication skills
•Skilled at relationship building and developing rapport with customers/potential customers, as well as internal teams.
