Mechanical Construction Project Engineer

Working for a prominent organisation in Dover as Mechanical Construction Project Engineer (on a fixed term contract through to 2027), you will manage the Mechanical scope of a large infrastructure project. The project will be delivered in a live operational environment and will require a collaborative approach to be adopted between construction contractors, 'Framework' contractors, operational teams and multiple stakeholders. You will ensure the project mechanical scope is effectively defined and managed to achieve the required project outcomes. Effective collaboration with supply chain and other stakeholders, and technical competence in the design and build process are essential. The role is at the forefront of customer service delivery both internally and externally and the post holder needs a strong customer focus and must be service minded.

To apply, you should possess the following:

* BSc/BEng in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services or similar
* Project Management Qualification from APM or alternative relevant professional organisation or demonstrable experience
* A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience as project manager for building construction projects
* Managing projects through the project lifecycle, from inception to completion
* Fulfilling the role of Project Manager under the NEC contracts
* Managing a portfolio of construction projects
* A demonstrable understanding of CDM Regulations and Health & Safety Legislation
* Good user skills in MS Office and MS Project
* Ability to produce drawings in AutoCAD/ProDesign or similar design tool
* Full driving licence and own transport
