Internal Sales Operative

Our client is looking for a permanent Internal Sales Operative with a passion for hospitality to join their proactive Telesales Department. This is a customer service based role in which the successful candidate will work closely with their sales representative to ensure customers receive the highest level of customer care. This is a continuous learning environment with constant room for development.

Main duties:

* Handling Incoming and Outgoing calls
* Evaluate and resolve both customer and representative queries
* Liaise and build rapport with customers and other departments
* Take orders via phone, email, or online ordering app
* Discuss current promotional deals with the potential to upsell
* Work with an online ordering system to ensure orders are input correctly and all customer issues are dealt with in a timely manner
* Efficient call logging and time management

Person specification:

* Confident, engaging and friendly telephone manner
* Clear communication
* Enthusiastic
* Ability to multitask and manage workload
* Competent in Excel and Microsoft
* Previous experience in sales environment is desirable but not essential

Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pm. Preferably 5 days a week, or 4 days Monday - Thursday.
