Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are working with an established and recognised manufacturing business in Medway to recruit for an electrically-biased Maintenance Engineer to work as part of a multi-disciplined team. You will be a time-served Engineer with experience of managing electrical improvements projects, with knowledge of PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics and ideally possess panel building and design experience.

The role

* Maintain and service production machines.
* Involvement with the development of TPM processes.
* Work with production staff to resolve technical issues within a manufacturing environment.
* Liaise with toolroom for manufacture of required parts.
* Excellent fault-finding ability and root cause analysis is a must.
* Ability to source replacement or equivalent parts in order to ensure obsolescence is negated
* Involvement with the development and training of Apprentices and suggested improvements for the apprenticeship scheme.
* Assist with the improvement and development of new and legacy systems.
* Maintain a safe working environment at all times.

No shifts involved - working hours are Monday - Thursday 7.00am - 16.30pm or 7.30am - 5pm and an early finish on a Friday - either 7.00am - 11.00am or 7.30am- 11.30am
