Our client are looking for an Interim Senior Group Accountant to help their finance team on a 3- 6 month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension/ long term permanent opportunities. Hybrid working available with 2 x days in their West Kent office.

The role will report into the Director of Financial Control.

Responsibilities -

Helping the team with their upcoming year end
Coordination of the financial audit and interim audits for the group
Reviewing of statutory accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations
Consolidations
Accountability for accounting and budgeting for central group functions.
To ensure adherence to accounting policy and promoting consistency

You will be -

Fully qualified either ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent with at least 3 years PQE.
Advanced Excel skills
Experience in both financial and management accounting roles
Involvement in group accounting and consolidation
Knowledge and understanding of best practice in relation to cash management and taxation.
Available to start a new role on short notice
