Do you have experience of working with individuals presenting with mental health issues?
We are seeking a full time Perinatal Mental Health Social Worker based in Dartford, Kent.
At Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust, we provide a wide range of adult mental health and learning disability services to our local population of 1.8 million people in Kent and Medway, as well as specialist services for adults in Sussex and Surrey.
You will be working under the Perinatal Mental Health Community Service (PMHCS) covering the whole of Kent and Medway. PMHCS specialise in the assessment, diagnosis and short-term treatment of women aged 18 and above who are affected by a moderate to severe mental health illness in the preconception, antenatal and postnatal period.
Within PMHCS, Social workers will focus specifically upon the needs of working age adults and their infants with perinatal mental health issues.
Applicants should be registered with Social Work England and have completed their ASYE.
