Accounts Assistant
Salary between £30,000 and £35,000 depending on experience

To support the Finance Director of a busy M&E Building Services Contractor. The duties for the role will include the following;
Processing and payment of Purchase Ledger Invoices, Subcontractor Invoices and applications.
Processing the weekly payroll (either PAYE or CIS Labour-only subcontractors).
Covering staff holidays in other accounting areas.
Dealing with ad-hoc requests from the Finance Director and Contract Managers.
Preparing weekly job costing reports.
Managing supplier and subcontractor queries.
The Person:
Must have a minimum of 2 years accounting or finance experience – ideally in a construction business but not essential.
Knowledge of accounting software (ideally construction-based software but not essential as training will be provided).
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to be “hands on”.
Reliable and professional approach.
High degree of accuracy and a “can do” attitude.
40 Hours p/w Monday to Friday
25 Days Annual Leave plus Bank Holidays
