Premier Recruitment Group is working in partnership with a well established and international organisation in Dartford to recruit a Laboratory Technician to join their team. This is an exciting, full-time and permanent role.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Completion of all allocated Concept, Library and New Formulation type Technical Service sample requests within the appropriate time limits/targets. This may include colour matching, manufacturing small scale samples, printing library type samples and coating placebos.
* To assist with keeping SOPs, risk and COSHH assessments up to date and to report near misses and accidents as they occur.
* To contribute towards Continuous Improvement within the department.
* To carry out all duties in line with the company's Quality Policy.
* To maintain good standards of GMP, GLP, H&S and general housekeeping within laboratory and office areas.
* To participate in the training of other Technical Services Laboratory staff and Area Technical Managers.
* In general terms, the job holder may from time to time be asked to perform other duties as agreed with TSL Team Leader or Manager

Experience/Training

* Practical work aptitude.
* Sound understanding of principles of working within a lab environment (GLP and GMP).
* Laboratory experience in a commercial manufacturing environment and/or Chemistry graduate with industrial work placement experience.
