Lime Logistics Ltd. is looking to appoint an Artic Lorry Driver to join our team, based at our depot at Thamesport on the Isle of Grain in Kent (travelling to / from other sites as required).

About the role:

The role involves driving an artic lorry in a safe and efficient way. Responsibilities will include;

- Delivering and collecting materials
- Liaising with customers / site personnel in a professional manner
- Ensuring that the lorry and its load are safe and secure at all times
- Ensuring the safety of yourself and others when operating the vehicle
- Following Health & Safety procedures, ensuring that all regulations are met
- Completing all necessary documentation
- Carrying out defect checks, reporting any faults as required.

This is a full-time position, working from Monday – Friday and Saturday mornings (i.e. 5 ½ days per week) – having regard to the appropriate transport regulations.

About you:

- You’ll need to hold a class 1 or CE driving licence.
- You will need to stay away from home for 2 or 3 nights each week (an overnight allowance would be paid).
- You’ll need to be reliable, motivated and flexible.
