Do you possess the skills and expertise to operate cut and crease machinery with precision and efficiency?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our client’s team as a Cut and Crease Minder. As a Cut and Crease Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that all cut and crease operations are performed accurately and efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be to set up, operate, and maintain cutting and creasing machinery, adhering to strict quality standards.

Duties include:
• Set up and calibrate cut and crease machinery according to job specifications.
• Operate and monitor the machinery during production runs, making adjustments as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimise downtime.
• Ensure all finished products adhere to quality standards, including dimensions, alignment, and finishing details.
• Collaborate with the production team to optimise workflow and meet production targets.
• Perform regular quality checks and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:
• Proven experience as a Cut and Crease Operator.
• In-depth knowledge of cut and crease machinery, including setup, operation, and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of print finishing techniques and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, job specifications, and production schedules.
• Proficient in troubleshooting machinery issues and performing routine maintenance tasks.
• Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, as production demands require.
