Our global leading client are looking for a qualified Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor to join their team and support the EHS Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a renowned company dedicated to improving lives through innovative products.

Duties include:
• Provide expert advice and guidance on environmental, health, and safety (EHS) matters to ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
• Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and programs to mitigate risks and improve overall safety performance.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and assess existing safety protocols.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address EHS concerns and develop effective solutions.
• Conduct training sessions and workshops to promote a strong safety culture among employees.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Stay up to date with relevant EHS regulations and industry best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities and initiatives.
• Participate in EHS-related meetings, committees, and projects as required.
• Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:
• Proven experience as an EHS Advisor or similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
• A H&S qualification along with an Environmental Management qualification such as IEMA.
• Thorough knowledge of local and international EHS regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and assess potential risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Experience in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Proficient in MS Office and EHS software applications.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
