Are you an experienced leader within a passion for driving operational excellence in a fast-paced environment? Our client is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Distribution Centre Team Leader to join their team!
Duties include:
• Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Plan and organise daily work schedules, ensuring that all operational targets are met.
• Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, conducting regular stock checks and coordinating stock replenishment activities.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as purchasing and customer service, to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery of goods.
• Implement and enforce health and safety procedures to guarantee a safe working environment.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficient strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs to develop team members' skills.
• Resolve any operational issues or conflicts that arise, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
• Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have / be:
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a distribution centre or warehouse environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
• Solid knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems or inventory control software.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational targets.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a commitment to ensuring a safe working environment.
