Production Supervisor
Swale – must be a driver with own transport due to location
Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week, must be flexible with hours
c.£29k + overtime

A great opportunity has risen with our client based in Sittingbourne who are currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team and manage the day-to-day operation of the production area, overseeing a team of 12-15 shift dependent. Shifts tend to be 5.30am -1pm but there must be some flexibility dependent on demand – you may finish earlier/later at times.

Duties to include:
• Working in a busy and targeted food production environment working in a variety of temperatures season dependent
• Overseeing the Production area ensuring efficient and safe operations of various machinery
• Following all associated sector regulations
• Day to day management of a team of 12-15 people including training and development
• Meeting daily KPIs by effectively and efficiently utilising the plant and equipment, spotting ways to increase efficiencies
• Managing stock efficiently, whilst ensuring a timely manner is considered when requesting daily material requirements
• Using stock management systems; accurately inputting data into spreadsheets and checking for anomalies
• Any other duties required

The successful candidate will have / be:
• Solid experience in a relevant role within a factory/production environment, ideally within food production although other similar environments will be considered
• Some supervisory experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Competence with IT with experience using stock management systems
• Happy to work in a physically demanding role in varying temperatures
• Driven with a desire to progress long term
