Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Transport Clerk to join their busy transport department based in Medway, Kent. This role would suit a candidate who is interested in a varied role and the ability to gain a Class 2 Driving licence.

This role is varied involving for the following (full training will be provided):

- De-briefing drivers
- Vehicle routing
- Transport compliance
- Answering incoming/ making outbound telephone calls
- After your initial transport department training our client will pay for you to do a full HGV 2 course

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

- The ability to work towards strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- This role involves manual handling and so the ability to do so is required
- Excellent customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- The ability to work towards strict deadlines
- Hold a current driving licence (maximum 6 points)

Salary/ Hours of work:

- The annual salary is £23,000 with the additional benefit of our client offering a free driving licence upgrade to Class 2 for the successful candidate
- The hours of work are likely to be office hours Monday to Friday based on a 40 hour week. (No Bank Holidays/ Weekends)
