Your new role
Due to an internal secondment to a new position within the organisation, an additional opportunity for an Experienced Tenancy Services Officer has become available to join a skilled and friendly team. The position is to cover a period of secondment. You will be responsible for providing a full, housing management service to a small patch of approximately 370 properties initially within Otford, Shoreham, Knockholt, Halstead and Sundridge, but this may change later in the year, following possible patch changes due to an increase in completion of several new developments. You will tailor your approach, according to individual situations and circumstances, ensuring tenants can sustain their tenancies and maintain their homes to a good standard. You will use relevant tools, interventions and tenancy enforcement action if necessary in relation to tenancy breaches, or anti-social behaviour. You will work with tenants to develop cohesive communities and areas where people want to, and are proud to live. You will work in partnership with other agencies and third parties to support tenants who may have complex needs or a number of vulnerabilities. You should be experienced in recognising and taking action in relation to any Domestic Abuse or Safeguarding concerns. You should have experience of and be confident to have challenging or difficult conversations in order to achieve the best possible solutions and outcomes.


This position requires an enhanced DBS check, a full valid driving license with access to a private vehicle.
