Are you an experienced Stock and Materials Planner with a background in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment?
Are you looking for a new and exciting role?
We are looking for an experienced Stock and Materials Planner with fantastic organisation skills to join our client, a forward-thinking business who have state of the art facilities.

Duties include:
• Overall responsibility for end-to-end stock planning ensuring effective production planning and budget control
• Raising and completing all purchase orders by calculating the required stock and materials needed.
• Creating Bill of Materials
• Ensuring all components are on course to meet the required delivery times.
• Reporting on all stock control and confidently and effectively make adjustments where necessary.
• Working closely with managers to meet deadlines and ensure the smooth production of orders.
• Any other duties required.

The successful candidate will have:
• Previous experience in a stock and material planning role within Manufacturing, Construction or Engineering.
• The ability to read technical drawings.
• An understanding of components in order to determine the most effective ones for use.
• Excellent organisation and communication skills.
• Able to work and communicate effectively with other teams.
• An analytic way of working, in order to work to, and meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of computer systems, including excellent Excel skills – using formulas and functions as a minimum.
• Excellent numeracy skills with the ability to make accurate calculations.
• Happy to work in an office environment but with movement to the Production facility where necessary to physically stock check if needed.
