Management Accountant/FP&A | Medway - Hybrid | £40k - £45k

The client based in the Medway area of Kent is looking to recruit for a Management Accountant/FP&A job. This role will focus on the financial reporting and consolidation of accounts for 2 of the companies operating areas.

The company operate a hybrid working pattern which will include 2/3 days working in the office. There would also be occasional travel to other offices at least once a quarter.

The client is looking for someone with strong accounting and FP&A skills who can be self-sufficient and is eager to learn and take on new tasks.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Contribution to analysis and consolidation tasks for group management reporting
• Implementation of analyses and summaries of performance (P&L, KPIs, etc.)
• Update, consistency check and development of reporting and closing statements
• Control of intercompany transactions in P&L and Balance Sheet
• Participation in the preparation of the Group cash flow
• Capex monitoring process for the UK and International divisions
• Follow up of Factor and Debt for the UK and International divisions
• Preparation of consolidation (creation of reports, integration, consolidation, etc.)
• Support and assistance to local contacts during consolidation process.
• Participation in the maintenance / improvement of the consolidation tool.
• Preparation of budget files for the subsidiaries (P&L, KPI, Capex & Cash-flow)
• Assistance to subsidiaries in budget construction and re-forecasting, escalation and loading.
• Updating summary statements and checking the consistency of data

What you will need
• Experience in a Management Accountant or FP&A position
• Ideally Qualified / Nearly Qualified Accountant, however Part-Qualified will be considered
• Good communication skills
• Inquisitive, self sufficient and eager to learn new skills
• Excellent Excel skills
