If you're an Accounts Manager seeking a new position within Property in Canterbury, then we have the ideal opportunity for you.

This position is working for a reputable business, who are well established and forward thinking, based in the centre of Canterbury town - close to the shops or a walk by the Cathedral on your lunch break.

Please find all the details below:

Job Title: Property Accounts Manager

Duration: This is a maternity contract until February 2024

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm or 9am - 5:30pm with 1 hour for lunch

Salary: up to £28k

Location: Canterbury, Kent

Your main tasks would include:

Daily Tasks

* Daily banking
* Checking and inputting contractor invoices
* Updating tenancy rents and dates
* Checking tenancy paperwork
* Communicating with tenants, landlords and contractors
* Updating and managing spreadsheets

Weekly Tasks

* Arranging landlord and payment statements
* Arranging Contractor payments and remittance advice
* Entering and updating landlord charges
* Deposit returns
* Updating invoices/deposits for residential renewals
* Inputting/amending invoices
* Arrears Management
* Updating Landlord letters
* Registering deposit certificates
* Managing utility accounts

Monthly Tasks

* Managing stamps and online postage
* Preparing fee reports
* Preparing budgets/forecast

Skills required for this opportunity:

* Previous experience within an Accounts position
* An AAT qualification would be an advantage but not essential
* An advanced knowledge of Excel in order to do conditional formatting and change formulas
* Excellent spelling and grammar in order to type professional correspondence
