SEN Teaching Assistant - Gillingham
Main Pay scale – Full-time – Easter Start

Supply Desk is currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant looking to take on the responsibility of working 1:1 with a pupil with ASD in Y4 after Easter. The child has an EHCP in place and behaviours and triggers are non-existent. This is a full-time role and would be ongoing.

The Role
• Working as a Teaching Assistant, 1:1 with a pupil with ASD
• Assisting the class teacher with the students tailored working materials
• Taking the lead on supporting and building a positive relationship with the child
• Attending staff meetings

The Ideal Candidate
• Previous experience working as either a Teaching Assistant, or Learning Support Assistant, would be highly desirable
• Experience working with children with SEN, including ASD would be highly desirable
• Must be DBS checked (Enhanced DBS preferable)
