Your role
Your role will be as a XSLT Solution developer primarily based on Thomson Reuters 3E Templates platform, but also including other technologies when and as required. In this role, you will meet with various clients to understand their requirements, identify and understand a problem or issue and provide appropriate feedback and resolutions.
This role will be primarily based in our Southend office, with remote working available when required as well as the ability to work out of their London office whenever needed.
The evolution of this role would be into a Senior Technical Consultant, which would include elements of project management, mentoring, training, and development of your skills across a wider technology platform.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Undertake short or long – term projects to address a variety of issues and business requirements using your proven experience with XSLT based coding.
• End-to-End development activities including testing, validation, and documentation.
• Designing intuitive user experiences on developed features
• Reconciliation of data across various systems to accommodate development and test plans.
• Ensures the communication channels and processes are in place to notify the relevant people so that plans can be amended, and the necessary action taken to rectify issues.

• Modifies personal approach and style to reflect changing circumstance.
• Plans and manages project activity to maximise commercial return, ensuring a focus on minimising lost and non-billable time.





Is this you?
While it would be great if you had already worked as a developer in such an environment or have worked alongside a law firm’s risk and compliance team working as a business analyst, they are really looking for a good mix of aptitude and attitude.
Essential Criteria:
• At least 3 to 5 years Proven XSLT, .Net and SQL, development skills in a software development environment.
• Windows server/IIS infrastructure knowledge (e.g., for troubleshooting API connectivity, service calls, event tracing etc.)
• Excellent organisational skills
• Manages their own time effectively to maximize utilisation and to balance demands from multiple projects
• Ability to work proactively, without close supervision.
• A natural team player
• Good organisational and analytical skills
Nice to have but not essential.
• Knowledge of the legal industry with proven experience in a consulting role working in or for law firms
• Effective team management and delegation skills
• Experience with the following legal finance platforms; Aderant, eBilling Hub, 3E, SAP, Dynamics
